Thursday 10/28

Today i have been browsing the internet for scrap room decor and what not and thought why not post on the concepts blog and give some inspiration for those setting up a craft room or redoing their current set up. Some of these things are expensive and wishful thinking items but others are affordable.  I love my current room but i love to look for new things.  This is my color pallet for my  space so the products i show you today would go with these colors.

Teal, Black, White and Red.  Love this combo. Maybe it will even inspire you to do a page or card with this pallete.
First off you need a table. And if your hubby is not as crafty as mine and will not build you the perfect one i think this one will do. It is nice and clean looking and has some great storeage. This is from Target

You will want to protect your work space so pick up one of these great self healing mats. You can find these lots of places.

And how about lighting. You can get these at a great price at Target.  Can you tell this is one of my favorite stores.  I should get paid to advertise for them haha!

Lets keep going with Target goodies and throw a matching carpet on the floor. I just love this pattern!!

Ok now this is a pricey item so i would love to know where to get a cheaper knock off because i am in love with these ruffle curtains from Urban Outfitters!

Lets add some more decor. A nice red clock..again, from Target

Some cute wall hooks..Urban Outfitters again..and some cute photo display chandelier thingy mabob. This is just so fun!

How about some really great storeage. Some more expensive pieces but these would be great! These are actually on my wishlist.
First this is a cubby storage shelf from Pottery Barn. LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

Also loving this desktop storeage made by Ballard

And lastly i love to find fun little bowls and such to store embellishments in. These little red colanders are so cute and fun!

Ok, i hope you are all inspired to get in your rooms and fix them up or add to them. If you do a layout with the color combo i would love to see it!

Thursday 10/14

Hi everyone! It is gettin really close to the weekend!  Today i am predicting cloudy with a chance of scrapbooking.  It is yucky and rainy here so this got me thinking of one of my favorite things in scrapbooking. Clouds! I don't know what it is but if i see something with clouds on it, i usually just fall in love.  For todays concept i am going to share lots of cloudy products with you and i hope you will be inspired to show me some of your favorites as well! I can always use more clouds.

We will start out with some patterned papers.

This is by far my very favorite cloud paper i believe. I just ordered more in fact.  Bella Blvd. makes it and it is just perfect for using as is or cutting up each individual cloud. I recommend using some pop dots. It has a great pattern on the back too so make sure you buy a few sheets!

Here is one from American Crafts.  Another favorite of mine.

And since it is October, i have to share this Halloween themed one from Doodlebug.  I have yet to order this but i have my eye on it and it is in my cart.

Lets hit up some Etsy shops next for some great embellishments!

I must say these are pretty funky but then i must say i LOVE them!  So bright and fun! You can find them here in the Chip Chop Shop

Again, i am a fan of felt so these are adorable.  You can find them in Greatest View's etsy shop

Ok some more felt. So these are not scrapbook embellishments. They are actually pins but i think they would make for some really cute embellishments.  These are made by lovahandmade
Ok one more etsy shop. These adorable hand carved stamps are made by eat pray create I think i need these just for the adorable cloud.

So remember the other day when i highlighted My Little Bit of Whimsy?  Well here we go again because they have some really cute cloud buttons in their shop as well!

This is another fun product from American Crafts. How can you go wrong with cloud ribbon? So cute!

One last product that i just love. I ordered this die set the other day from Paper Trey Ink .  If you are not famililar with them, they are a great stamp company. They also sell really nice papers, cardstock and coordinating embellishments. You must check them out!
Paper Trey Ink

Ok that is it for today.  Hope you have enjoyed all the great products i have showed you today!  Let me know if you create anything cloudy!

I love all the different, fun patterns you can find. One of my favorites in this Cathedral Window patterns and i so wish more companies would come out with this pattern in diffrent colors and designs.  Here are a few inspirational pieces i found on etsy.

Love this gorgeous pillow from mama Rabbits Workshop..you can find it here Im not affiliated with any of these shops...Just want to give these talented ladies some credit where it is due.

I also found this adorable little bib by maryhanks which you can find here Love the color combo on this.

As fun as it would be to create this pattern myself, here is one of my favorite patterned papers using the pattern. Its in the October Afternoon Fly A Kite line.  If you do not own this yet then you must find some. It is fabulous!
As always if you're inspired i would love to see what you create! Happy Tuesday!

Wednesday 10/6

Hi everyone! It's Wednesday! Hope everybody is having a great week so far. Today we have a few different concepts to share.  I was browsing around today on the Pottery Barn website. (No affiliation, just love their stuff, and tend to wish i were rich when i browse there) Anyway, i found some neat inspiration that I just had to come share.  See ideas can come from anywhere when it comes to papercrafting which i know you already knew.

The first thing i found were these neat little ribbon flower stickers.  Cute on walls, but i think it would be pretty cute on a scrapbook page as well. Have you tried these?  I am sure they are super simple to make and i am sure you have a huge stash of neglected ribbon just waiting to be dusted off

I am a big fan of color so when i saw this i thought it would be a ton of fun to use as a color combo on a layout, card or other project.  It almost reminds me of this one striped October Afternoon paper i have that also needs to come out of hiding and be used.

I also came across this bulletin board which i think is great inspiration for a collage type layout or even if you just wanted to actually do up your own bulletin board like this and maybe throw in lots of pics and journaling. I think it would make great scrap room wall decor. Plus you could change it up every so often and add seasonal details.

Last but not least i came across another neat display item.  I think this would be great for displaying smaller layouts in your craft rooms.  I bet you could even make something like this easy on your own and i bet some of you already have!

So i hope i have provided you with a little inspiration today.  Share with us what you come up with!  See you tomorrow!
